For those who are curious and thirsty for knowledge, the upcoming "Book a Scientist" event on November 8, 2022, holds an exciting offer: Book your exclusive, virtual conversation with Leibniz scientists! In personal meetings, the researchers will provide insight into their topics and everyday work, answer your individual questions and look forward to exchanging ideas with you.
Can you make fertilizer from urine? Are plastics always bad? What can we learn from baboons about social systems? Why have there been mass extinctions in Earth's history? How and when will sanctions affect Russia's economy? What types of curiosity are there and what do I get from being curious? Was the tank discount a crazy idea? And how did people in the early modern period deal with the dangers of life?
Also taking part is food4future partner Maria Fitzner (Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops, IGZ). The PhD student will provide insights into the research on future foods from the perspective of a food chemist.
"Book a Scientist" gives the chance to spend half an hour exclusively and in private with an expert from the Leibniz Association and ask everything you've always wanted to know about your favorite topic.
