This year, the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau was once again represented at JEC World, the leading international trade fair for composite materials, together with the Fraunhofer IAP and Prof. Dr. Christian Dreyer and Andreas Bernaschek. At the joint stand of Composite United e. V. (Hall 6, R24), they will be presenting innovative solutions in lightweight construction that are important for sustainable cultivation systems in agriculture, among other things.

As part of our project, we are investigating new LED-based lighting systems for the indoor cultivation of organisms in maritime habitats. Additive manufacturing technologies and new composite materials play a decisive role here in order to develop sustainable and resource-saving cultivation vessels and technology for the demanding requirements of saltwater organisms.

JEC World offers a platform for innovation, business and networking and showcases pioneering developments in the field of composite materials.
