ISAP 2024 in Porto – with f4f scientist Dr. Anna Fricke

The ISAP 2024 conference placed a special focus on “Algae 2030: Challenges and Opportunities” and provided an excellent forum for discussions and the establishment of new partnerships and networking opportunities.

During the five days, food4future scientist Dr. Anna Fricke had the opportunity to present her latest work, participate in lively discussions and debates, and get to know interdisciplinary consortia and projects from around the world.

For students, this conference also offered an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas, find inspiration, and build new networks that will be crucial for their future.

The scientific program of ISAP 2024 was complemented by a diverse social and cultural program, including excursions to remarkable places throughout Portugal, highlighting the numerous applications of micro- and macroalgae.
